A few of the paintings that will fly to Australia to be packed into a car and go on a road trip. Julia I am glad that we can take the top off because I have more than these.
Yesterday I took out all the paintings that I have been working on for the last year. I started to select and chose for different exhibitions and maybe most importantly to see what key pieces that I was missing. To work with an exhibition is a lot like working on a fashion collection. You want the pieces to work well together and in combination with each other, but you also need those contrasting pieces that will stand out. Contrast and balance, the sites, the audience, the places and the themes are all different, so it will take a lot of thinking. I have gone through quite a few and made a few sketches of what I need. If my shoulders would just keep up with my pace I would be happy.
Thank you Julia and Connector Jewels for planning the art road trip.
