Coffee Paintings

For many of us the day doesn't start until after coffee, for others coffee is all about work and yet others associate coffee with meeting friends or getting your fortune read. No matter which one you think about almost all of us has some kind of realtionship to coffee, also those that don't drink it. I love coffee and one day years ago my brush slipped into the coffee mug instead of the mixing cup. It gave me the idea to paint with coffee. In this collection you will find paintings painted with coffee and ink. The coffee used ranges from espresso to grandmothers boiled dark roasted. 

Original paintings

I create one or two collections each year. From every collection I create prints from smaller sketches and 3 to 4 paintings from the collection. The other paintings remain as unique artworks. This also means that it is only one piece available so once sold it has a home.

Each original comes with a certification of authenticity and the story about the artwork. I am always happy to schedule a meeting to discuss/view an original online or in person.
