The original artwork was created with boiled cooking coffee from Löfbergs, blended with expressive ink lines. Boiled coffee has a deeper, slightly smoky tone, giving this piece a warm, grounded character — perfect for an artwork about energy, routine, and the subtle lift that comes after that first cup.
This print is part of Ingela Johansson’s Coffee Collection, a series born from a happy accident in Singapore in 2014, when she dipped her brush into her coffee cup by mistake.
Since then, she has painted with espresso, cold brew, instant coffee, grounds, and boiled coffee — each type giving its own personality, texture and emotional tone.
Coffee to Work embodies the shift from slow morning softness to “now we begin.”

About the Artist
Ingela Johansson is a Swedish artist and lifelong coffee lover whose expressive art has been exhibited in nine countries. She grew up in Karlstad — a city known for the comforting scent of freshly roasted coffee from the local coffee roaster Löfbergs, a fragrance that has followed her throughout life and now finds its way into her art.
She is represented by Barlow Gallery (US) and Gallery Lienhart (Stockholm).
Her art explores movement, emotion, and the inner stories we carry — bringing art with heart & soul into your home.
